Sonan makes house music with soul. Based in Amsterdam and only 25-years old, he has already shaped a sound that stands apart. His music blends classic house grooves with warmth, emotion, jazz influences and a sense of nostalgia that feels familiar yet unmistakably his own. It is honest music that does not chase trends. It reaches for something deeper.
His debut song Loud Enough was created in his bedroom late at night with no plan other than expressing a moment of missing someone. Within days it reached millions, going viral on TikTok with more than 50 million views and over 2 million streams on Spotify. The track was championed by Purple Disco Machine, MOGUAI and Mr Belt and Wezol, and received remixes from Zac Samuel and Didier Armeni.
In 2025 Sonan launched his event concept ‘Sonan & Friends’. What started as an idea quickly became a respected movement. The concept took over standout locations including The Yellow House, a packed Amsterdam Dance Event show together with Caffe Pico and a celebrated night in the iconic Amsterdam club The Shelter.
Summer brought another milestone when Sonan performed two shows at Mysteryland, adding a major festival stamp to his fast rise. He also played at Geheime Liefde and expanded internationally with his debut in Paris at the legendary Sacré club.
Streaming numbers continue to reflect the momentum. Sonan reaches around 200thousand monthly listeners and his music moves fast. His remix for Two Another‘California’ earned 100 thousand streams in a single week. His recent release with Two Another and No Suits collected already 60 thousand streams within 4 days.
